Hello Everyone!
On Wednesday, November 20th Misfits Poker League lost a beautiful soul.
Sadly, Ernie Thomas has passed away.
He was a great poker player and an even better man. His quiet demeanor, smile, and sense of humor will be greatly missed, but his presence will always be felt.
To support his wife and fellow Misfit, Pam during her greatest time of need, one of our league members has donated a buy-in (Value $200) to one of the FPN Qualifying Tournaments during the Desert Dash for Cash Event held January 9-11, 2025 at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas.
This buy-in will be raffled off on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11 am PST live on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/misfitslv. The prize winner will be notified via email and text message.
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by sending an email to lance@misfitspoker.com with the following info:
1. Your Name
2. Number of Tickets You Are Purchasing
3. Phone Number (must be able to receive text msgs)
4. Email (If different than the email you are using to send this message)
5. The Name of the League you play in (if you play in several, just name one)
Payments can be made via Venmo or Zelle once you send this email. I will text you the payment info once I receive your email. No cash or checks will be accepted, and all payments must be received before 11:59 pm, Thursday, January 2, 2025, to be eligible. No refunds will be issued as all donated proceeds will be going directly to Pam Thomas.
If you’re traveling to Las Vegas for the FPN Desert Dash for Cash, you might as well get a ticket or two and try and win yourself an opportunity to qualify for the Main Event or pad your current chip stack. This also helps a fellow poker player and member of the FPN during a very difficult time. Thank you for your support and I’ll look forward to meeting you at the Golden Nugget in January.
