Qualifying Tournaments: May 10th - May 16th at our regular league venues.
Who can play? ALL members of the Misfits Poker League can play at any or all of the qualifying games May 10-16. Only those who qualify during this time will play at the Main Event on Sunday, May 18th, at 4pm.
During the qualifying games, all FPN points and finishes will still count toward the current FPN promotion and championship. So, all players are encouraged to continue their regular playing schedule at the venues during that week.
Here’s how it will work:
Each regular-season league game for the 6 games played on May 10th-16th will also double as a qualifying tournament for the Misfits Invitational Main Event on Sunday, May 18th, 4 pm at Putter's Bar & Grill - Pecos.
Each league will have a certain number of qualifiers based on the average attendance at each league. Below is the current (as of 4/9) breakdown of qualifiers per league. The top number of finishers in each league game based on points will qualify:

*Please note that the number of qualifiers per league may change due to the number of venues that are operating in the Misfits Poker League during the qualifying period. The Main Event will consist of no more than 30 players.
Each Misfits player will have the opportunity to qualify for one (1) seat. This qualification will be based on the rank of the player in the respective league game that week. Each league will have its separate number of qualifiers (as seen in the chart above).
Once a player has qualified, they are no longer eligible to earn another seat.
However, they are still eligible for all of the FPN points, Weekly Online Qualifiers, and bar prizes offered throughout the week at other venues. This means that there may be a situation where a player may finish in a qualifying slot at multiple leagues during the week of qualifying. If this is the case, the player will be removed from all Misfits Invitational qualifier lists, except for their last qualification, and all players will be moved up one slot until each remaining league has a complete list of unique qualifiers.
In the example below, Garth Courtney qualified with a Top 5 finish at Qualifier #1, and he then finished in the Top 5 again at Qualifier #2 the next night. Because each player is allowed one seat, Garth is removed from the list for Qualifier #1, and all players move up one slot, meaning Randall would then qualify by moving from slot #6 to slot #5. The process would be repeated for any other qualifier tournaments where Garth happens to qualify for using the last qualifier as his earned seat for the Main Event. This means that if he qualified at all 6 qualifiers, he would be entered into the Main Event based on his finish in qualifier #6, and his name would be removed from qualifiers 1-5.

Please know that there may be multiple players that may need to be moved in this manner for a single qualifying game; this opens the opportunity for players who finish outside the qualifying range at each venue to move up and slide into any open qualifying slots. Qualifying lists will be adjusted from the top down, beginning with the last qualifying game first.
Tie Breakers:
If there are qualifying players that are tied based on points for the qualifying week. The following tiebreakers will apply in the order that they are listed.
The player with the most overall season points for the applicable league will earn the spot.
The player with the most wins in the season for the applicable league will earn the spot.
The player with the most overall points across all leagues will earn the spot.
THIS MOVEMENT OF PLAYERS WILL NOT AFFECT THE FPN OR LEAGUE STANDINGS, POINT TOTALS, OR PRIZES!
This way, everyone can maintain their playing schedule for the week and not compromise their standing in each league.
The top 6 of 30 Max. will get paid.
Top 6 can ICM chop the remaining cash prize pool. (There’s an app we’ll use.) Then, we’ll play to a winner to decide who gets the WSOP entries.
